Struise-Mikkeller is as we said in the past "Best of two worlds". We delivered an IPA with 150 IBU, but a bitterness hidden the Struise way, counter balanced by maltyness, alcohol and rest sugars.

bottle, pours hazy amber, very tall light an head. A very lively beer. Strong hop nose, tons of it. Sweet biscuity malt, some candied fruit flavors and a strong bitter hop finish. Carbonation is low to moderate. This is enjoyable to me because there is so much more than just a shitload of hops. Lots of good malt and a sweet fruity flavor as well. It balances out so well and makes this a highly drinkable beer to me. Two mugs up!!

[Bottle] I had rated this before and noticed that my rating had disappeared, so I’m going to write down what I remember about the brew. Pours cloudy orange with a large beige head. Aroma is super spicy with lots of grassy and noble hops, some citrus character, and a touch of malt backbone. Flavor is a little heavy on the spiciness, which makes it a little less drinkable than I would like. Not super bitter, but I heard that after a certain level of IBU’s you can’t really tell the difference.

12oz bottle. Pours a completely hazed rusty brown color with some sediment and a big, rocky off white head. Nose of herbal hops, sweet malts and candied peaches and apricots. Flavor was sweet and fruity with a touch of hop bitterness, finish is bittersweet.

Bottled. Orange-red coloured, thick lasting head, absolutely beautiful. Hoppy nose with fruity notes, grapefruit. Bitter flavour, harsh in finish. Could use some more complexity in flavour, but still quite good.

The look is cloudy amber colored with a nice big off white head. The smell is very hoppy, fruits, bready, sweet, nice, citrus, and florals. The taste is earthy, bitterness, flowers, hops, and fruits.
