Commercial Description:
Brewed with wheat, durum, barley, oat, red pepper, coriander and bitter orange rind.
Rifermentata in bottiglia Alc. 4,5% in Vol.

[2223-20090605] Sample. Wheaty fruit yeast aroma. Hazy, light brown orange body with a quick bubbly white head. More wheaty fruit yeast in the flavour with a bit of tang. Light-medium body has hints of sour beginnings. Nice, reminds me of pastel colours.

2009-06-05. Hazy pastel yellow body with a tiny white head. Tangy lightly sour aroma has very light floral notes. Flavour has a similar lightly sour tang with mild grains below, brief touches of lemony sourness. Average to light body. Hard to tell if this is intentional or a bit off. Just okay. Bottle at Mondial 2009, Montreal

My Bottom Line:
A muddled cereal blend builds a wobbly foundation for this approachable Witbier’s fruity spices to express themselves.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the turbid milky beige.
-The body and carbonation were lax.
-Wheat is firmly stated in the flavor profile, but it does not come out too cleanly.
-This remains very drinkable throughout, but you can tell there is more work to be done to achieve the quality of their La 5, for example.

From the bottle at the Mondial de la Bière.

Very pale cloudy. And very small head never making a head even. Citrous , soury smells. More like a sour ale. And very salty at back. Fresh i think i need more time for that beer to understand it.

On tap at Salone del Gusto 2008. Cloudy golden with a smallish, but steady head. Fruity coriander nose. Good orangey flavours with bitterness provided by coriander. Not the most complex wit, but enjoyable.

Little head; pale orange colour. Bit sulphury nose, coriander & other spices, citrus. Bit sulphur again in the taste, if less dominating, citrus obvious whilst other spices in check. Not a very fluent taste, somewhat clashing; bit burning MF. Not at all bad, but I wonder whence the sulphur.
