330ml bottle, BB 19 Aug 08, served chilled. Pours a slightly hazy reddish copper body with white foam. Fragrant hops on the nose, particularly fruity, grapefruit sharpness, peach skins, earthy spice, some toffee malt in the background. Moderately low carbonation, leanish body, slight creaminess about the texture, drying towards a lingering bitter finish. Unripe peach on the body, sharp grapefruit certainly cutting through, hint of tropical fruitiness blending with a faint nutty maltiness. Citrus lingering. Hop dominated APA, one of the better Aussie examples.

Bottle. Good APA. Aromas of grass, and roasted malt. Taste has a sweet start, with bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Orange, with a frothy white head.

Draught at The Local Taphouse (Sydney). A clear amber. Grain on the nose. Grainy again on the palate - quite weak. A hop tang with a light citrus, along with a raw dryness to finish. Struggled.

Pours a dark amber colour. Wonderful thick and creamy white head that hangs around for a while. Very light aroma, almost not present at all. Flavour of hops and light fruit. Has quite a creamy texture in the mouth, and leaves a bitter aftertaste. A very nice summer afternoon beer.

330ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s. Pours golden-amber with a medium off white head that provides good lacing. Nose is perfume-like with floral and citrus hops on top of a caramel malty base. Taste is nicely balanced between the malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Finishes dry and bitter. Medium bodied with an almost creamy mouthfeel and lowish carbonation. Highly drinkable. Much better than I expected.

From a 330ml bottle on 4/1/2010. Pronounced malty, caramel aroma. Taste is also malty with a touch of grapefruit. Almost a little creamy, with a nice long hoppy finish. Very enjoyable.

bottle, pours deep-amber, with long lasting off-milk-white head, plenty of hops and malt in aroma and flavour. Flavour of biscuit, cracked pepper. fairly malty balance. Solid but not over the top bitter finish.smooth mouthfeel. must have again.

On tap at Hashigo Zake. Pours a nice reddish amber, off white head. Fruity hops aroma, grapefruity. Medium bitterness & toasty malt. Comes through like a good IPA.

Bottle. Clear amber pour with a creamy beige head that lasts. Aroma has lots of floral hops and notes of toffee, pine, citrus and lavender. Flavour is also hoppy with notes of caramel, honey, malt and citrus. Light body, smooth but slightly thin mouthfeel and a long dry and mildly bitter finish. A good APA, quite sessionable, could be more robust though.
