375ml bottle with mes, ethereal and tashi. Bottle was given to mes by engelsmann. Thank you guys!!! Beauty of a barley wine. Dark hazy red hazel colour with a creamy head. perfect condition. You could get drunk just smelling this stuff. Masive hop, sturdy alcohol in perfect balance to quite a heap of sugar. Like a velvet sledgehammer!

Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a beige head which soon disappears. Aromas of caramel, roasted malts, sweet spices, licorice, a lot going on in there! Flavours Of burnt caramel, forest fruits, dark chocolate, brown sugar. Warming slightly bitter finish. Very nice.

Light gold, small head. Taste has a nice apricot fruittiness to it. Nice and smooth with a decent alcohol burn.

Bottle. Dark amber/erddish color, huge yellowish/beige head. Hoppy cascade aroma, grassy and metallic, with the malt showing more and more. Hoppy, grassy flavor, nice malty balance, nutty, dark fruits, metal notes. Huge body. Maybe a bit too hoppy for beinga true barley wine, but I still like this beer alot...

Your nostril sensors are virtually overwhelmed with a huge plum, pear, caramel malt alcohol and surprising hops, first thing I noticed in the taste was the almost domination of alcohol and bittering hops, mixed with all kinds of malts, including honey and maple flavors , a distinct sweetness, and that always wonderful baltic smoothness that the Danish and Norigians have down so well. An absolutely monsterous brew, the bottle is almost to much for on person. Probaly could age another good year

Bottle. Pours opaque chestnut brown/amber with off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt, alcohol, toffee, raisins, bread...great intense smells in there. First sip has a bit of a bite, but the palate mellowed as I continued. Strong flavors of raisins, caramel, alcohol, and dried fruit. Very intense flavors with an alcohol burn. I’ll bet this would be fantastic after a year of two of aging.

(Bottled, 12% ABV, @Pikkulintu [Thanks, Markku!) Clear darkish amber with a smallish head. Grainy-malty, (straw)berry-citrus-fruity aroma with smooth, vinous alcohol hints. Extremely fruity, very malty and freshly lemony-hoppy flavor with a long, dry and bitter finish. Some burning alcohol present, too. Quite full-bodied, warming and slightly alcoholic palate with low carbonation. A pleasantly fruity and well-balanced barley wine. Could hide the alcohol a bit better, though.
