Beershine (5277) - Miami, Florida, USA - JUN 11, 2009Draft at Dullas airport tap. Nice haze on the yellow beer. Small white head. Surprisingly yeasty. The aroma is practically like a witbier, with light herbal and lemon notes. Palate is pretty clean. Has a detectable punch in the middle but the alcohol is generally well-integrated. Is a little thick, yeasty but is easy to drink. Lots of fruits including starfruit and pineapple in the flavors. Also herbal. Has a reasonable degree of complexity. Interesting.

Lou18 (1353) - West Paterson, New Jersey, USA - JUN 5, 2005bottle. 2-24-05. Poured golden yellow, small white head. Aroma has fruit, lemon and pine. Taste is very hoppy, with a clean dry finish.
dolemike1 (1287) - Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 13, 2005Golden, small white head, light aroma, some malt, slightly malty with a decent hop finish. Nothing overly impressive. just average
jclzony (25) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 7, 2005Light amber color with a good malty start. Has a hoppy pine-like finish with a dryness in the completion probably attributed to the 7% alcohol.
Yankovitch333 (612) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 19, 2004Pours a light gold with a think white head. Mild hop aroma and lightly toasted malt. Thin mouthfeel. Nice mild hop taste with some lemon zest. A good beer for a spring barbeque.
obxdude10 (2512) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 19, 2004Pretty average beer, golden color, decent bubbly white head, nice hop character, very crisp & smooth, very drinkable
foamee (5) - Maryland, USA - APR 8, 2004 does not count When I had this I thought it was a hoppy pilsner. It was quite light colored and had a big head that was long lasting and lacy. It started hoppy but finished smooth and was easy to drink.
jamesp (13) - Thornton, Colorado, USA - APR 6, 2004Very light golden color with minimal head. I'm generally not a fan of lagers, so take this with a grain of salt, but it just doesn't taste or smell good to me. The aroma is slightly skunky and the taste is only slightly better. I don't know if it's supposed to taste or smell like this.
Indra (2711) - Suburbia, Kansas, USA - OCT 11, 2003Malty, flowery aroma, with hints of clover honey and toasted bread. Light-medium golden color, lacking much of a head. Flavor has a light dollop of sweetness to begin, with an unfamiliar herbal tartness entering about midpoint and blending with a lightly spicy hop bitterness and faintly citrusy fruitiness to become kind of sour by the finish. Light-medium astringency and rather flat on the palate throughout, which I have to believe is not the intended effect. Yes, overall a bit strange and incongruous, and kind of lacking substance at the same time. Perhaps would be better sampled fresh at the brewery.
