Pours a reddish-amber with off white head. The nose is citrus/floral hops and some medium caramel malt. Comes across the palate malty with strong flavorful hop presence. Significant bitterness with a pleasantly soft edge. Medium body and texture, crisp finish.

Attractive Amber-Red color. Small foamy head with good lacing. Fresh piney-hop aroma. Taste - piney hops dominate up front, but its laid down over a solid malt base offering hints of caramel. Surpisingly creamy texture. (just glanced up at the commercial description and it’s basically the same as I just wrote...swear I didn’t look at it until after I wrote this...I’m getting good at this!) Don’t love IPA’s, but this is good.

12oz bottle trucked down from Wisconsin by Moose (thanks) via Wilkes. Murky orange pour with a thin white head. Citrus, caramel and floral aroma. Sweet caramel malt taste with a grassy hop backbone. Slick thin to medium texture. slightly metallic bitter finish.

12oz bottle. Pours a deep amber-orange colored body with an inch thick, very creamy, light tan head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is thick, sweet caramels with a nice, oily and sicky American citrus hoppiness. Not the most explosive, but solid. Some grapefruit pines and sweet oranges with a pinch of toast. Flavor is more the same. Big, thick caramels with plenty of hops to balance. Again, not overpoweringly bold or bright, yet because the malts are so big, the hops don’t seem quite as dominating, but there is definitely a lot of them. Some sweet oranges, grapefruit pines, and leafy pepper accompany plenty of caramels. Ends very rich and malt forward, yet has plenty of hops that offer a quick and dry finish with a light to medium bitterness. Aftertaste lasts for a moderate duration after a full, malty body with a moderate amount of soft carbonation. Overall, a very unique, high quality IPA. Very malt forward, but plenty of hops to balance the bigger body. Not the most extreme IPA, but there’s enough going on here to keep my attention. This is a high quality IPA.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with Ughsmash. Pours a clear amber with a moderate-large amber-white head that lasted through mid-glass and left ample lace. Pleasant aroma of malt and grapefruit. The flavor is quite nice with a solid malt backbone up front followed by a wash of grapefruit that is equal parts fruit and bitter with a bit of pine as well. Some moderate bitterness lingers at the back of throat for about fifteen seconds after the swallow. Very nice IPA.

Bottle from Ugmash. Poured clear amber orange with a nice big off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops, little grapefruit, and toasted malt. Taste is similarly bitter with a nice toasty sweet malt backing. Finish is expectedly bitter. Not as in your face as some west coast IPAs but very nice all the same. Plenty of hoppiness for me. Mouth is a little dry and moderately carbonated. Overall, a nice IPA.

Hazy amber color with a thin but creamy tan head. Aroma of caramel and hops with a slight spiciness. Initial flavor is rather sweet, malty and well balanced but the finish does have a bit of that typical IPA harshness and pine taste. Overall this is a fantastic IPA.

One of the few IPAs I’ve ever had that I think are drinkable. I wasn’t sure I liked the style, but after drinking this and Bell’s Hopslam I’m learning to like the style...or at least some examples. A nice hoppy aroma, following by nice hop flavor without the pucker of some that are over the top. Nice ambery color..this is a pleasure to drink even for a non hophead.

Amber pour with a nice white head. Aroma of hops and alcohol. Medium body and very smooth. Flavors are dominated by hops, citrus, and light malts. Some alcohol at the finish.
