12 oz Bottle. Pours a dark red with a thin light brown head. The aroma of berries, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is somewhat sweet and hoppy with the hint of berry. Heavier then most fruit beers which make it drinkable.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of raspberry and chocolate. Poured dark orange in color with a small to medium-sized, rocky, beige head that lasted as a thin film on top of the beers. Clear. Not sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of raspberry, slight medicine, light chocolate, and some malts. Light to medium body. Thin, slightly chalky body. Average texture. Raspberry jelly with a hint of chocolate in the finish, which is lightly chalky.

***Beer # 888!!***Pours a reddish brown. Has a great smell of chocolate malt and lightly of pureed rasberries. Taste is the same with crisp carbonation and more of that delicious chocolate malt dryed by the tart berry flavor. Fun beer, definitely glad they tried to mix it up for this winter.

Bottle. Brown with a small off-white head. Bready and slightly fruity aroma. Very typical brown ale flavor with very very very slight raspberry.

Bottle. Deep brown pour with off-tan head. Nose is malt, mild berry, some earthy, hops, and nuts. Palet is medium, and the complexity lacks, giving next to no raspberry flavors, and malty, mildly hoppy, and some finishing nutty notes. Never again.

Draught at Speakeasy this afternoon. Nose is raspberry syrup atop a layered malt base. Pretty basic, slightly tart, but mainly sweet raspberry taste that works pretty well in this beer. Light roasted malt, a bit of cocoa in the base. Slightly watery and thinnish body. It doesn’t try to be too much. It isn’t too much, but thats okay. Its an easy sipper from otter creek. middlebury is a nice town.
