Commercial Description:
One of the most interesting styles of beer in the world must be the Belgian White or Wit beer. White beers like waving wheatare part of the world's large family of rustic, unfiltered wheat beers (our infamous choc beer being one of them). The suspended yeast and wheat proteins give white beers their unique hazy, white appearance. Its elusive flavors are complex, and it seems that with every sip another can and will reveal itself - the wheat, the Belgian yeast, the delicate blend of spices, and of course the citrus bitterness of the Curacao orange peel. Here at choc Beer Company, we happen to hold unfiltered wheat beers in very high regard, and when the time came to brew another, the crisp, refreshing white beer was the unanimous choice of the brewery staff. We hope you enjoy our efforts.

BOMC. Bottle say’s Choc’s Waving Wheat. Nice light cloudy pour, with a decent head. Good aroma and flavor. True to the style. Crisp and refreshing. Good brew. Reminds me of Hoegaarden.

Pretty good wit. You’ll think I’m nuts but the aroma brought to mind rice pudding. Good looking for the style, very cloudy with lots of floaters. Flavor is typical of the style. Great story on the label.

Very pale buff in color and opaque with a fast fluffy white head. Floral and yeasty aroma with some lemon and spice. Tastes like breakfast cereal, wheaty with a froot loop note. A bit on the watery side. Finishes with low bitterness and a little spice. Not bad.

Bottle. Standard issue wheat, nothing spectacular but nothing bad either. Enough of the yeats flavors and hints of bubblegum and banana. Not overspiced and quite refreshing, a bit cloudy in appearance.

Very nice aroma. Full of spices and tastes as such. I enjoy this beer very much.

Marginal at best, it poured a cloudy yellow straw color, with a half inch thick white head. Aroma was a mix of mild coriander and some citrus. Flavor was slightly more milder then the aroma, but was pretty much in tune with the aroma. It was very light on the palate but made for a refreshing hot summer day beer.

BOTMC Selection: Poured from the bottle into a dual-walled pint glass. Pour produced a cloudy, yellow body topped with a small, white head with no lacing, consistent with the style. Aroma is spice, wheat, with some lemon notes. Crisp effervescence, light bodied, and light flavor. Has a light amount of bitterness and tartness. First impressions and continued aroma helped this otherwise unremarkable witbier...

Eh, not one of the best witbiers. Pours a cloudy gold color, slightly citrus aroma, lightly carbonated. Really reminded me of a "lite" beer, with a bit of a wheat taste.
