[1114-20080220] 11.2floz (w/ jerc). Sweet honeyed and roasted pineapple aroma with mango hints. Hazy, dark orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Sweet malty pineapple flavour has a slightly tangy finish. Medium body. Enjoyable.

750ml bottle. Poured a hazy goldish amber with a thick fine bubbled white head. Smells of sweet malt and candy sugar, along with banana, cherry and apple with some slight alcohol. Fruits are everywhere on the initial taste, but are toned down quickly to leave a dry and surprisingly balanced beer. Not too sweet, as the aroma would suggest. This is a tasty brew and makes for a decent Christmas beer.

Pours a cloudy dark amber/orange color with golden orange hues and a two finger bubbly white head that slowly settles into a lasting cap. Sporadic spots of lacing. Slightly earthy spicy aroma with lots of estery Belgian yeast notes. Hints of light fruit especially apple, pear and strawberry. Peppery zest and spice with cinnamon, Christmas pastr, earthy grass and subtle hops. Highly carbonated up front with a slightly creamy and very earthy medium body. Lots of dry earthy grass(hemp?) notes followed by subtle malt backbone with plenty of estery Belgian yeast and candy sugar. Hints of apple, pear and berry with lots of sharp and dry spicy, peppery character. Also, a good bit of Christmas cake ans slight alcohol. Dry finish.

750ml bottle shared at a tasting thanks to Arbitrator on BA. Pours a mostly clear orangish-golden color with a fairly large off-white head that lasts. Aroma is sweet malt, spices, and candi sugar. Smells Christmasy and Belgian for sure. Flavor is very malty and sweet with caramel, bready notes, caramel, honey, and spice. Smooth on the palate with medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty nice beer overall.

Bottle split with Dallas. Pours a slightly hazy orange body. Aroma is sharp malt. Taste is basic malt, not a ton of flavor - the aroma is significantly better than the taste.

Pours an orangy amber with a fairly large off white fizzy head. Notes of fruit and some floral hints in the nose. First note noticed in the taste is hay/grass with some citrus, wood, and caramel notes coming on just a beat later. Mouthfeel is tingly and slightly chalky. Finish is dry and very slightly spicy.

Bottle. Pours a clear orangish amber with an off-white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma has sweet notes with candy sugar and caramel clearly present. Also a bit of underlying nutmeg. Flavor is sweet as well with undertones of nutmeg and alcohol.

750 ml. Hazy orange with a medium-sized head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, dry grass and wood. Tastes of resiny wood, dark bread, beeswax, spicy orange, and peppermint. Light body is too fizzy for me, has some spice and alcohol warmth, and finishes dry.
