| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 19, 2010 Pours a very pale golden orange color that has more of a yellowish tint with golden yellow hues when held t a light sour e and a one finger foam white head with decent retention, slowly fading into a lastig ring.
Slightly earth hop aroma with very subtle pine notes and a prominent biscuit malt backbone. Not much of a citrus presence and doesn’t smell as hoppy as the description had me hoping for.
Pretty hop forward for a pale ale and much more than the aroma suggested. Nice amount of dry bitterness with hints of earthy pine which is quickly balanced by a nice malt back bone with a prominent biscuit flavor. Slightly floral with a slight earthy straw presence. Well balanced, fuller bodiedtuan expected and a very drinkable session beer. Just don’t tell the English! Rciesla (4302), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 3, 2010 Draft at Wilmington location. Poured a light amber color with a big tan head on top. Some grapefruits, pine, and lemons in the subtle aroma. Thin to medium-bodied. Flavor-wise, there is a bit of sweetness upfront that is quickly replaced by a bittering dryness that lingers. Caramel, grapefruits, and lemons are all noticeable. On the grainy side throughout. Pretty forgettable, but still a solid session beer. CaryTheDude (1221), Longmont, Colorado, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Draft at MapleShade. Poured a clear orangeish/amber with a smaller whiteish head. Aroma was nice with lots of fresh hops over some malty cereal grains. Flavor was great with even more hops coming through, bread, dough and cereal grains along with a touch of citrus fruit rind. This was one solid APA that I actually thought was an IPA. Great if your a hop lover and an awesome session beer. savnac (532), Palmer, Alaska, USA
