| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Bottle, from trade with Maria. It’s a clear, a bit pale golden beer with a small, white head. Grainy-sweet nose with a little sticky-fruity-sweetish thing. Grassy and fruity hops as well. Grainy-sweet flavor with fruityness and gass, nice bitterness going into the finish. Some metallic hints in the finish. Medium body with nice carbonation level. Overall, a decent pilsner, nothing more. 090909 ekstedt (2529), Göteborg, Sweden

Can, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours thin yellowish - golden pale gentle carbonated body texture is perfectly clear, head is initially big slowly decreasing to medium and being quite firm, snowy white in colour, frothy, dense, very nicely and tasty looking, leaving good lacing.
Aroma: Very chalky, gently dry, clear and clean, notes of barley grains, very crispy, refreshing, notes of rust, minerality, gentle but rather reduced hoppyness, cardboard, dust, slightly fruity especially wildberries, but again weak.
Flavour: Very soft, nice, easy going, drinkable, refreshing, clean, clear, crisp, well pronounced, soft, barley grains, maltyness, hops are gentle to moderate in terms of bitterness but are easily recognisable, wildberries, some forest fruits and citruses, especially wildberries and lemon, for sure due to aromatic hops effect, clean aftertaste, finish duration is short.
Palate: Body is light and refreshing, texture is rather dry, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is chalky, dusty, moderately astringent with perfectly hidden alcohol and hoppy bitterness, clean. floydian1 (329), FNQ, Australia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 7, 2009 330ml bottle. A clear yellow beer with a loose white head. Nose of toasted honey malt and light floral hops. Tastes similar with a medium body and metallic dry finish. Certainly not as dry as other better German pilsners I have tried. Unremarkable. fonefan (13211), VestJylland, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 8, 2009 One of the less impressive German pilseners. It’s one of those beers that goes best with heavy food because by itself there isn’t much flavor.
