Aroma is corn, yeast, hops, light and ephemeral. Flavor is same with flowery citrus, crisp bittery hop finish that lingers nicely. Some carbonation contributes to the fresh, crisp flavor. Very tasty. A very drinkable beer, although I couldn't identify the oats specifically. An excellent Spring beer that will wisk you into the lighter ale season. Still packs an alcohol whallop!

slightly cloudy yellow, whispy white head, sweet malt with light floral hop aroma, light malt flavor, low bitterness, too malty for a summer brew, too bitter for a bock, good but no weo

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 5, 2004 Are we eating oatmeal? This brew is great. It has so much character, even with the high alcohol content. This, like most other lagunitas brews is inspiring. dberger624 (1028), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA
