Has a very deep amber color and is not that bitter. The slight hint of cherries makes this beer a very pleasant experiance CaptainCougar (5847), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Csak at Churchkey, menu said "with coffee beans", but I didn’t really detect that. Pours a transparent copper amber with a small, clingy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet lightly toasty caramel malt and some nutty character. Starts with decent fullness and light caramel and earthy nutty sweetness with a drier English hoppy balance before a toasty, thin, but smooth finish. A pretty decent brown ale.
