UPDATED: DEC 30, 2023 Goud geel bier met een dikke witte schuimkraag. T bier is granig zoet met een hint van karamel en iets van stroop. Verder wat hooi en gras. Eindigt ligt bitter met hinten van citroen rasp en bitterheid.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2023 Bottle picked up from Fristo Getrankemarkt, Freising and consumed at home, sat outside, it's another glorious day today, Wednesday 21st June 2023 listening to Steve Lamaq playing a Blur set from Glastonbury a few years ago, on 6music it's wall to wall Glastonbury coverage now listening to Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant. Pours dark gold edging towards light amber with a white head. Intially it's quite sweet and malty with a little honey edge, I guess that it does drop off to a little dryness at the end. Nice.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2023 Clear amber colour with thin head. It's a mildly flavoured lager. Very low bitterness. Quite bland.

UPDATED: AUG 13, 2022 Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, grainy. Taste: Malty, sweetish, grain notes. Light hoppy notes. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Ok.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2021 Espuma blanca hueso que permanece, color dorado anaranjado con bastante fina burbuja brotando constantemente, aroma ligero en nariz, sabor con notas maltosas.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2021 Im Glas findet sich ein sattes Goldgelb, welches schon leicht ins bernsteinfarben geht, mit feiner Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone zeigt sich flaumig-stabil und sehr gut haltbar. Die Duftaromatik gestaltet sich brotig- bis karamellig-malzig und zart würzig. Im Antrunk fein rezent und süßlich malzig. Der Mittelteil zeigt sich in erster Linie von seiner malzigen Seite. Sehr getreidig, angenehm süßlich mit einem leichten Hauch Karamell. Eine zarte Hopfennote lässt sich ebenso erahnen, hält sich aber nobel zurück. Ein durchaus vollmundiges und süffiges Märzen. Dieses Bier ist wirklich gut und die vorhandene Aromatik ausgezeichnet, könnte aber doch ein bisschen mehr Tiefe haben. Im Abgang zeigt sich dieses Märzen im Grunde von seiner schönsten und vielseitigsten Art und Weise. Der Süße folgt Getreide und dem folgt nach einiger Zeit eine leichte aromatische Herbe.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2021 Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is sweet brown malt with caramel, dark bread. Toffee, lightly buttery. On the sweet side, light bitter. Medium body. Okay-ish.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2021 brownish color. carbonation is okay. Taste of caramel and with the aligned sweetness. But I have to admit not my type of beer (taste was too thick).

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2021 500ml Bottle from Oswald Getrankefachhandel, Mettlach, Germany. Amber coloured with a thin white head. It has a malty, earthy, honey and toffee flavour with a warming grassy and peppery finish. Pretty good.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2021 Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of grainy malt, lager yeast and a little orange. Taste has creamy grainy malt, creamy orange, lager yeast and soft bitter herbal hop. Nice classic german beer.
