Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
"It is a deep coppery-red in colour and is very aromatic with intensely floral hops and a lightly sweet and malty flavour. This full-bodied ale offers a very pleasant high bitterness, with smooth sweet malt character, creamy head with good carbonation, and with an excellent bittersweet finish."

Bottle at the Cambridge Blue, 11-10-08 Pours Reddy/Amber. This is a straightforward malty type of beer, medium carbonated bit sweety malt, some caramel, toffee and vanilla, fine.

Bottle at home ... from my local mexican ... copper ... sweet woody malts ... over fizzy ... biscuity malts ... light hop ... decent but uninspired.

Flaske: Rødbrun klar øl med fint skumhoved. Malt i duften og malt i smagen. I det hele taget en meget maltdomineret øl. Lidt kedeig.

12 oz brown bottle at Buz and Neds 05/17/08. Clear Copper with almost no head. Aroma of carmelized sweetness or vienna and munich style malts with no hop aromas. Vienna and munich style carmelized malt sweetness with some spicey hop bitterness. Clean with no fruity yeast characteristics. Dry finish. My bet is that it is a lager, and its pretty close to a dunkel in my opinion. Quite tasty.

Very yeasty, rising bread, nose (expiry "130809") and beady white head atop a clear dark amber liquor. Smooth, slightly watery mouthfeel with a touch of bitterness to finish.

Bottle from Buz and Ned’s Barbecue in Richmond, VA. Clear dark amber body with a small frothy off-white head. Sweet toasty and caramel aroma. Strong caramel and toast flavor, very malty. Medium body with moderate carbonation.
