Black with a very small tan head that dissipates fast. Sweet pumpkin pie up front, bitter chocolate next and a dry oak finish. Medium bodied (lighter than you would think), silky smooth mouth feel, low carbonation. Very complex and unique, a good late night sipper. yobdoog (1583), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | May 24, 2009 Super dark with an off white head that fades fast. Aroma is great. Wood, vanilla, pumpkin. Taste is smooth, rich, and creamy. Nice spice balance and very sweet and delicious. Not much vegetable, pumpkin character. Some wood and creamy chocolate and vanilla taste too. Great! | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 22, 2009 Sampled at the Ohio group tasting on DLD eve ’09. Many thanks to Brad for sharing. Black pour with a medium tan head. Cinnamon, chocolate and vanilla in the nose with a hint of beef jerky. Strong spice flavor with chocolate giving way to oaky vanilla and a coffee finish. Awesome brew, but I have to give a slight nod to the non-oaked version. ogglethorp (903), Ohio, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 29, 2009 Bottle shared by Brad! Pours inky black with a decent sized tan colored head. Aroma is chocolate, ginger, clove, caramel, even a hint of cinnamon. Flavor is chocolate, clove, cinnamon, ginger, caramel, light oak. Palate is full bodied, mild carbonation, finished sweet and mighty tasty. Great example of barrel aging. I absolutely loved this, perhaps more than Pumpking. Awesome! miketd (717), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Apr 18, 2009 Great stuff here. Take the already wonderful ICPP and oak age it. I felt the oak added a nice vanilla flavor to the spicy, pumpkiny, chocolaty goodness. Very nice original concept beer here. ericandersnavy (1308), crossroads, Texas, USA
