Really weak aroma, maybe some malts in there but it’s hard to tell. Taste is a heavy syrup with a bitter finish, and not much else. This one’s a malt liquor, perhaps better used as paint thinner, way too thick and not tasty in the slightest. Strangebrewer (239), Chatham, Ontario, Canada
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 28, 2009 can. Poured clear amber with a lasting thin head. Apple-alcohol aroma. Average carbonation, heavy mouthfeel. Malty, grainy, alcohol flavour, and so sweet. Finishes with more alcohol. cfrancis (414), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Oct 31, 2009 Very little aroma, faint bit of malt and alcohol. Taste initially is pretty bland. It is all in the aftertaste. The burn shall we call it. Alcohol burn as it goes down your throat because of the 10%. Taste is metallic and sweet if that’s possible. It’s one of those beers that if you need to get drunk fast you pound one down. I can imagine a bunch of young brits throwing one back before going out, much like Americans would hit the Schlitz. guil0000 (118), New Brunswick, Canada

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2009 Despite what Myke says, and I respect his opinions, either this is a far better beer than he rates it or I’m a rubby (must be a Canuck term, eh?). Head was white and foamy but nothing remarkable, sweet bugger all in the way of lacing; aroma was oddly almost nil given the "grunt" of this stuff. Colour was unfortunately urine-like. Taste, mouthfeel, and aftertaste were far better. Look for me chugging down one of these next time you’re in back of Victoria Station (or any other Brit lush hangout). SHIG (2059), Aviano, Italy

Terrible aroma, heavily alcoholic, sourish with corny and cheap vodka notes. The flavour has a high sweetnes with some sourness and is tiotally unbalanced and harsh. Full body, lively carbonation, long finsh with light to medium bitterness, the alcohol is heavily fely and burns in your throat. Very bad. Saarlander (1589), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA
