Bouteille claire de 375 ml, avec bouchon de liège, achetée au Mondial des Cidres de Glace 2009 (Rougemont, QC). Arôme: Odeur de pommes confites. Apparence: La couleur est cuivrée. Saveur: Goût de pommes confites avec une pointe de caramel. Longue durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est plein avec une texture légèrement sirupeuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement sucré. (Rating #2888)

Bottle shared by ygtbsm94 on 7/3/09: Pours a viscous deep golden bronze with good thin legs. Has a fresh juicy apple nose with some light caramel and a touch of tartness. Starts very full and fruity sweet with nice toffee and caramel apple flavor along with some light citrusy tartness and good balance before a crisp, sweettart finish. A very nice ice cider.

This poured nice clear golden color with tiny bits of bubbly carbonation coming from the top. Aroma was of loads of overripped apples, like walking through an orchard in the fall. Flavor was much the same, not overbearingly sweet, but not tart either, just fresh pressed apples. This hid the alcohol very well too. Very impressive stuff.

Clear amber color, nice legs. Nose of wood and pie crust, and of course heavy apple. The flavor is similar, wood and ultra sweet apple that you’d find when you pick a rotting one up in your yard. This is incredibly crisp, really clean apple flavor without the spices and dessert quality I’ve had in ice ciders from other breweries. As such, I enjoyed it a little more.

2005 edition shared graciously at the Pittsburgh tasting 2009 from sir Mr Chopin, thanks Kev! Parafin and purfumy apple cider aroma. Plain old yellow and clear. Sweet and yummy yet nothing artificial about these flavors. Hides any alky content rather well. Very nifty aged or almost rotten apple taste in a tremendously good way. Very friendly and easy going. No carbonation. Lovely and delicious. Wow, glad to have had the chance at this one. Alky is certainly in there but so what. Finish is apply rich sweet candy. A little viscous on the palate. Very nice and enjoyable overall experience. THIS STUFF ROCKS.

2005 edition shared graciously at the Pittsburgh tasting 2009. Pours a clear golden color with lots of syrupy legs. An awesome nose; heavenly apples, sweetness and somehow all natural. A powerful flavor, heat, apples, sweetness, but not overly sweet or artificial. Not super complex; but still amazing. I could drink this anytime. Thanks to MrChopin.

Bottle. Clear reddish amber with no head. Very intense fruity with notes of sweet apples and light sour touch. The flavour is lots of sweet apples, berries and a hint of sourness. Full bodied and fat. Lovely stuff.

Clear medium orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy sweet apple, sour apple, light honey. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, raisin. Body is medium to full, texture is syrupy, carbonation is soft to flat. Very nice ice cider ;O) [20091123]
