Commercial Description:
Untouchable does justice to the American Pale Ale, enforcing a strict balance of arresting hop flavor and a smooth maltiness that's just undercover.

From the bottle, pours a nice amber golden color. Very bland. No hops. Utterly forgettable. What was I rating?? Won’t buy again

thanks to j12601 for the share @ RnH - fruity citrus orange. Nice caramel malts and smooth. Good, but didn’t make a huge impression, especially surrounded by all those Cigar City beers.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and light grapefruity hoppy. Sweet malt base, distinct hops fruity with a nice orange to peachy like touch. Dry and peachy finish. Smooth and fruity lasting impression.

On cask at Rattle N Hum at the Cigar City event. Pours a hazy orange amber with a thin white head. Citrus hops, vanilla, soft wood. Smooth and malty, light sweetness. Long grapefruit finish.

Cask at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Aroma is caramel malts, mild hops. The appearance is amber, hazy, white head. The flavor is caramel, grapefruit. The finish is a cirusy hop bittering. The beer has medium body. Not bad. Pretty standard Pale Ale.

I can’t count how many times I’ve brought this to get togethers, bbq’s or watching football with some friends. It’s always such an easy drinking, nicely hopped, damned tasty beer. Picked up a mixed pack of Speakeasy beers for the weekend and it seems like I haven’t rated this yet. Odd.

The beer pours out a dark golden amber color, clear with a creamy 1/2 inch off-white head. Aroma is nicely balanced with the sweet malt, bready yeast and juicy, citrus hop profile. It’s also slightly peppery in the nose. Flavor shows off the same balance in the aroma with a good showing of lightly toasted malts, earthy/herbal hops with a crisp, clean finish with a touch of lingering bitterness. So easy to drink and enjoy.

12 oz. Clear and shiny burnt orange with little tiny bubbles persisting as if it were a photo-op. Nose is pleasantly bold with a blend of grapefruit, honeycomb, cereal grain and resin. Taste is similar but has much more resin and peppery dried wood. Light medium body is a bit too frothy at times and nearly astringently dry.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Floral hoppy aroma with some sweet malts. The flavor has grainy sweet malts with a balancing hop presence. A decent APA.

Tap at Rattle n Hum: Deep golden pour with a white film of head. Grassy zesty aroma with a lemon rind note and soft caramel malts. Has a light end of a medium body. Some cookieish malts (like many of this brewery’s beers) Has a soft caramel sweetness that meshes with mild zesty hop notes of lemon grass (feels like centennial hops). Has a peppery back. Not bad.
