Commercial Description:
Created by Rodney Kibzey, Illinois Rodney describes his wonderfully complex brew as "deep amber in color with a full creamy body and a dark fruit and clove aroma." This traditional Bavarian style brew took Rodney a few batches to perfect, but the taste is worth all of his hard work.

THOUGHTS: A really nice beer. Seems like a ramped up Dunkelweiss. I wouldn’t mind seeing this as a year round offering from someone. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium to dark brown with great carbonation and an average-sized, creamy, off-white head that kept a nice sheet and left excellent lacing. The aroma was light to moderate milk chocolate malt, light to moderate yeast, wheat, spices and a hint of banana. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and moderately acidic; while the finish was moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter and sour with a short to average duration. There was wheat, chocolate, some spice and maybe a hint of banana. The medium body was creamy with lightly fizzy carbonation and a light astringent finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark red brown with a very thin white head. Aroma is of yeast, fruit and sugar. Tastes similar to how it smells and tastes a bit like a belgian quad.

pours a mahogany with a thin white head. aroma is candy sweetness and fruity-spicey hop. Backed by a sweet malt. Flavour transitions quickly through sweet roasty malt and alc into a yeasty wheat, then tart fruity bitterness.

12 oz. bottle: This one pours a quite opaque darker brown color. There was a bit of a creamy tan head on it that dropped off some what quickly and left a little lacing. There is definitely some, but not overly so, clove to the nose. Malts and fruits in there also, but they have a hard time getting past the clove. The taste is good. There is a somewhat creamy texture to the beer. Just slightly sweet, with clove and other spices dominant. Slightly bitter finish. Nice.

Had this bottle in Gloucester VA. It was a very cloudy, brown and milky beverage, carbonation just a tad too high, but big taste, sweet, spicy, and lingering. Not much head but a really complex beeras touted.

12 oz bottle from Hollingshead Deli; Nose is bananas, cloves, bubblegum, and caramelly sweetness; cloudy brown with a big, glass-lacing, tan head; flavor is fruity, ripe bananas, raisins, and slight sweetness; the finish is slightly sweet with a little alcohol warmth, then slight bitterness.

Pours out a muddy brown color with a small slightly off white head. Interesting fruity aroma. Taste is complex with some nice banana notes, some caramel and maybe some yeast here and there. Solid
