Bottle sampled on 5/22/08: Pours a transparent orange amber with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of semi-sweet toasty caramely malts and funky tart cherries and leathery oak. Body starts with a slightly sticky biscuity Belgian maltiness and assertive vinous oak and tartness before a crisp, drier finish. A nicely balanced and authentic oak-aged tripel.

Bottle shared firmbuttstone and iowaherkeye. Thanks. Poured a slightly hazygold-light orange color with a white head. Smelled of mixed spices, light oak, unripe fleshy fruit, and a splash of white wine. Flavors were similar. Medium bodied and delicately sweet with subdued acidity and minimal alcohol.

Late entry from Noogfest High Five. Sour, cheesy, and tart. Hides the alcohol fairly well. Good sour

Cloudy yellow orange with a thin fading head. Aroma- lemon, tart berry, vinegar, funky. Does not taste as funky but still a lot of tart yeast, lemon and berry flavors. Spicy and slight hop bitter finish.

Almost orange pour with a fluffy white head and lace. Sour bread, and yeast aroma. Clove, cinnamon, and oakiness on the flavor. Medium full bodied with good carbonation. A very nice beer.

Bottle shared at Noogfest High 5. Poured cloudy orange yellow color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Complex woody, spice and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth dry texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus balanced flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a refreshing standout beer.
