Gr0ve (2176) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 14, 2009
500 ml bottle. Dark brown and a little hazy. Very tall coarse off-white head. Very high carbonation level. Aroma is dominated by sharp prickly carbonation and a spicy sharp hoppy aroma. Peppery. Flavour is hoppy with a sharp bitter bite. Raspberries and münchener malts. Reminds me a little of an altbier. Also has a little of the same ashy flavours and aroma that can be found in their Amarillo and Tokens clusterbomb, just not as much. In any case this is a very fizzy and flavourful beer. Way too much carbonation unfortunately.

yngwie (22205) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 30, 2008
On tap at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. A clear, amber beer with a nice beige head. Malty and peaty nose with some smoke. Caramel-malty flavor, much lower on peat and smoke than the aroma, and quite bitter. Full-bodied and dryish in the mouth. Long finish with piney hops. A refreshing beer, but not an all-nighter.
