12 oz bottle via Arctic Liquors Beer of The Month Club. Pours a hazy amber with a tiny head. Nose is caramel, grapefruit, pine. Taste is the same as well as some orange. Semi-dry finish. Medium carbonation. Medium body. Easy to drink.

As pale ales go, this one zeros in quite well. Hazy apricot pour with a minmal off-white and decent lacing, I agree with others that find that combination of the hops and grapefruit essences mix nicely. I’d drink this again. Sounds like these folks from idaho springs could teach the coors people how to make a beer or two. They may want to think about spending a few bucks on better labels, though. The silly comic labels look foolish

Pours a slightly hazy medium amber color with a thin beige head. The aroma is hoppy and grassy. Pronounced hop flavor, but not too bitter. The mouthfeel was a bit soft, almost spongey. I like this brew a lot, but there are a few other IPAs that I prefer over this one. I would like to pair this beer with a mesculin/spinach salad mix and a burger topped with smoked provolone cheese and whole-grain mustard.

Pours deep orange with a foamy off-white head. Nose is grapefruit, some floral noble hops, mild spice. Flavor is spicy hops, sweet fruity malt. Full mouth feel. Nice american style British Pale.

I had this in Colorado a few times. Not too bad at all. Hazy amberish color. Small head poured. It has a definite hop flavor on the finish but not too much. Easy and smooth. Nice.

Re-Rate 04/05/02: Clear amber color, off white head, adequate lace. Malt dominates the nose, start is sweet, the middle is light, the finnish has a nice hop presence. Light carbonation, a tad dry, a passable ’Pale’, but ’ SNPA’ has nothing to fear.

Sparkling amber, thick off white head. Nice floral hop nose with touches of citrus, toast, and toffee. Good floral hop bite up front, lightly citric throughout, with a toasted sweet malt backbone kickin in late. Light to medium bodied, light carbonation, floral hop finish. A good easy drinking EPA...

Found this one bottled in Belvidere, Illinois. Deep reddish brown color, slightly hazy with a thin white head. Nice floral nose with rose and lemon zest, tastes very balanced with plenty of hops. Not bad!
