Commercial Description:
An American-style wheat ale brewed with 30% malted wheat and 2 row barley. Low hopping rates allow the refreshing aroma and citrus flavor of a late addition of lemon grass to dominate. This unfiltered beer retains all of its protein, flavor, and some of its yeast, resulting in a traditionally cloudy appearance. 2000 North American Brewers Asc. Gold Medal

Pours a hazy gold color with a quick diminishing small white head. Typical fruity aroma of a wheat ale...hints of strawberry, apple & peach. Taste is sweet malt, a little fruity, lightly hopped, some herbal flowery flavor, maybe a touch of honey. Semi-dry finish, light mouthfeel...maybe a little on the watery side. A good summer time drink. Highly drinkable, refreshing, lots of different flavors.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orange amber with loads of carbonation, the head was thin and white. The aroma is citrus and wheat/yeasty. The taste was somewhat bland wheat with some citrus.

12 oz bottle- poured a transparent weak orange color, aroma of wheat and fruit. Solid fruit taste with weak body, finish tales off, no bitterness or hops. Kind of ho-hmm.

no head at all, which isn’t necessarily bad. great smell, if you can dig the fruity/sweet thing. it smells good, but kinda of like a nice lit candle in a bathroom you or someone just took a gnarly dump in. in the taste, i detected a hint of apricot(must be the lemon grass, i guess), which was both refreshing and tasty, complimenting itself as a great summer beer. however, i don’t know how many i would be able to drink in one sitting. not too sweet, not too bitter.

Pours a very cloudy dirty blonde with a white head. Aroma, what aroma? Light wheat and lemon I guess. Flavor is a little better, pretty basic wheat ale, but it does have a nice long aftertaste. The further I delve into this mix pack the more I am regretting my purchase.
