Commercial description McAuslan Scotch Ale is dark ruby red with a tawny head– sweet and malty, with hints of vanilla and butterscotch, and a long hop finish. With 7.2% alcohol, it is the ideal beer to fend off winter chills, but its full flavour makes it a favourite all year round.
After a few years off the market, this scotch ale was reinstated in the McAuslan lineup in late 2005.
