Dark red colour with light brown head. Aroma is rich with strays, sweet caramel and hops. Taste is bitter and somehow roasted. Some alcohol present. Thick, oily mouthfeel. Some choco. Good charasteristics, but poor outcome.

Draught (500 ml) at Kaunis Kampela, Helsinki, Finland. As Kevätbock. Oily dark brown colour with small head. Weak roasted malty aroma with some coffee. Quite sweet roasted malt flavour. Not very interesting.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Clear reddish brown with a rough, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and dried fruit. Medium body, sweetish roasted malt and some raisins. Has a vague underlying tartness. Subdued bitterness. 210309

Don’t think this is a dupe of Pask Bock (Alko version), because they’re currently selling that under that name too.
Keg (Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki)
Raisiny aroma. Smooth but flat palate, maybe end of keg. Sweet malty body, roasty, coffee. Full bodied and sweet, but not terribly fancy. Slips down easily.

330ml bottle (alko)
Dark brown, no head. Smells like smoked cheese, as well as more traditional sweet dark malts. Taste quite similar, and the mouthfeel is sticky and a little cloying. The smokiness in the taste alternates with more simple burnt malt notes, earthiness and some decent bitter hops. Due to the stickiness there is a fairly long sweet noble hoppy finish.

Bottle, 6.0%. Almost black colour, clear with a red shine. Small frothy head. The flavour is nicely roasted, mild but flavourful. Creamy notes, faintly lactic.

330 ml bottle. Blackish color, low tan head. Somewhat sweet, lactic aroma with some roasted malts. Roasted malt flavor and a slightly dry finish. Medium-full body, light carbonation. I wasn’t too impressed.
