Keg (Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki)
Raisiny aroma. Smooth but flat palate, maybe end of keg. Sweet malty body, roasty, coffee. Full bodied and sweet, but not terribly fancy. Slips down easily. Earlier Rating: 3/16/2008 Total Score: 3.2 330ml bottle (alko)
Dark brown, no head. Smells like smoked cheese, as well as more
traditional sweet dark malts. Taste quite similar, and the mouthfeel
is sticky and a little cloying. The smokiness in the taste alternates
with more simple burnt malt notes, earthiness and some decent bitter
hops. Due to the stickiness there is a fairly long sweet noble hoppy
finish. MiP (9180), Sønderborg, Denmark
