Bottle. Dark brown, nearly black pour with a rich beige head. Aroma is malty chocolate, some subtle plum and raisin, hints of coffee and very slightly roasty. Taste is much the same, malty chocolate, dark fruits, a little sweet up front but finishes a little roasty with some bitterness to balance. Quite tasty and balanced, but not quite the rull richness of most imperial stouts. More like a really nice strong oatmeal stout.

Bottle 355ml. Deep black and a thin light brown head. Aroma is sweet with dates and plums. Smooth palate. Taste adds coffee and some burnt caramel with some molasses sweetness. Really good for an Imperial Stout with a reasonable abv.

Bottle @ DŘE "Řllets Dag"/Brdr. Schmidt, Viby centeret. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, toast, caramel, light chocolate, little cake, light dark fruits. Flavor is light sweet, malty, caramel, bread, chocolate, licorice, little fruit. Medium body, average carbonation, dry finish. 030916

Jet black body, capped with a thick mocha head. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, and brownies. Lighter mouthfeel than expected. I guess less creamy is the way to put it. Flavours are an extension of the aromas, but getting black liquorice as well. A very nice, very flavourful, very drinkable stout.

Bottle From maruhn. Pours pitch black. Smells of liccorice and toffee. Taste like chocolate, toffee and very bitter. Nice imperial stout, but won’t be my daily Drink.

So far, it’s my beer-of-choice. Full flavored, dark, but without the bloating and "gut rot" feeling afterwards. Looking to order a case for myself.

Bottle. Pours black. Aroma of coffee, fudge, malt loaf and molasses. Roasty flavour with hints of liquorice and vanilla. Light to moderate sweet and bitter. Not as luxurious as the bigger higher abv stouts but enjoyable nonetheless.

Served in a Teku glass from a 330ml bottle. Pours opaque black colour with a thick beige head. Aroma is smoke, caramel, chocolate, bread, malts. Taste is bitter chocolate, molasses, smoke, well hidden sweetness with slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium body with medium to lively carbonation. Very nice stuff (actually reminds me very much of one particular beer from a macro brewery which, funnily enough has scored much lower than this one despite very similar aroma/taste etc. descriptions by the beer connoisseurs... what an irony...)
