3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kiwianer (2464) - Mönchengladbach, GERMANY - JUN 9, 2013
The head is ok, the body golden-orange. It smells hoppy, a bit fruity, less malty, decend. The taste is hoppy, bitter, grapefruit, hoppy, a bit malty. Easy drinkable Pale Ale. 11/12/11/11/-/11
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Creedence (161) - Cork, IRELAND - APR 17, 2013
Draught at Franciscan Well. Pours a nice hazy golden, with a pillowy white head. Aroma is caramel, grass, floral citrus and just a little bit of soap. Light nutty sweetness, medium bitterness. Citrus dry hop finish which isn’t overbearing. Lively carbonation. This is a fine beer, and there’s nothing wrong with it, per se, but it’s just that bit underwhelming, much like the rest of the Well’s regulars.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Deu (399) - IRELAND - FEB 4, 2013
On tap at a beer festival in Dublin. English American style IPA. Nice. I will try it again. But I still recommend it
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dogbrick (6178) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear amber-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and citrus. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering citusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sizzler80 (314) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUL 12, 2012
On cask @ Brew Dock in Dublin City.
Copper smooth pour, good white head and lace. Fruity, citrus, hops, malt, floral. Bitter and slightly dry on initial sip. Hint of caramel sweetness. Had it before the Stone Roses gig so extra Brucie bonus points for that.
Refreshing and very thirst quenching

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 shortt1 (11) - - MAY 28, 2012
A marked improvement from when I had this last time. Barman said they have used different malts and will do going forward. this is well balanced with a hoppy after taste that makes you want more. I would say the best Irish pale ale on the market at the moment. their beers in general seem to have increased in flavour. The barman also told me the owner is pushing for tastes to be challanged as more people are switching towards craft beer. Its great to hear . It is a little dark for a pale ale but that would be its only flaw in my opinion
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ACD (379) - Dublin, IRELAND - FEB 18, 2012
Cask pint (had it from the keg too). Golden/straw colour with decent white head, medium carbonation. Aroma of slight citrus, bit peppery, but nothing to write home about. Taste of citrus first of all, but leads to a very odd unbalanced malt/hop profile that doesn’t hit the palate too well - very rough mouthfeel. Not too impressed to be honest, much better Irish pale ales to be had.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 mikeschuld (52) - Bozeman, Montana, USA - OCT 12, 2011
Bad sour suggary flavors like a, cough drop. Hop notes are good though. Clear but the head was a but lacking. Fairly watery and flat.

Draught at Porterhouse, Dublin. Hazy copper colour, small head. Quite intense bitter orange aroma. Mid sweet with solid body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Cookie-like malt mixes with salty grapefruit. Marked bitter finish. Rather hoppy, but also a bit rough.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 sebletitje (5536) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 8, 2011
Cask @ Bull and Castle, Dublin.
Cuivre opaque, col est minime;
