Deep golden to light amber colour. Lovely pleasant maltiness delicately balanced by a mild hoppiness. The sweetness also has a fine strawberry like fruitiness than I (but noone else) sometimes find in very good malty beers. Extremely pleasant and a great example of the style but perhaps not complex enough for a real top rating (4+).

Hazy, golden color with a lasting white head. Medium carbonation. Malty taste with touches of yeast and lemon. Quite a different Oktoberfest, I almost thought of it as an attempt at a Belgian! Very nice brew.

Dark bronze colour, big sweet, malty aroma. Slightly roasted malt flavour which turns sweet, then ends with only slight bitterness. Thick as well. I love malty beers so it works really well for me. Thanks Slikwily

Man, I love how capital Brewery's beers smell. This is a smooth Fest, wtihout any real bite. Oh well, beer is beer, and drunk is what this beer will soon be, as will I.

Copper, with a white head. Sweet malty aroma. Bready caramel flavor, touch of honey. Very on style.

Lightly golden colour, thin persistent head. Deep doughy yeast fills the aroma, along with lightly oily hops, pine and lemon zest. Good amount of spice on the palate - pepper, nutmeg, hay and more dough. Lingering maltiness that rounds out the flavours very well.

Aroma - malty. Appearance - golden, slightly brown. Flavor - Initially tart fruit, but floral hop flavor mixed in with a strong alcohol flavor dominate. Very smooth lasting finish. fuller bodied than it appears. Tastes similar to Unibroue's La Maudite but not as strong. Overall very good, would definitely buy again.

Clear amber with a medium diminishing white head. Malt, caramel, pear, nut and apple aromas abound. Medium watery body with a moderate amount of carbonation. The flavor is nice with nut, caramel and bread notes dominating with honey, pear and spice in the background. It starts out a little thin and sweet, but the flavor becomes more complex for a nice spicy finish. Refreshing, a great session beer.
