COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A wheat bear from Gotland, made according to the Bavarian brewing tradition. Brewed inside the ancient walls of Wisby.

Tolis (158) - Athens, GREECE - MAY 19, 2022
UPDATED: MAY 19, 2022 Aroma: very fresh aroma, grainy and yeasty, not so much banana and clove as the typical weiss, but more on the funky/pukey champagne yeast aromas Taste : mainly funky yeastyness, but not as funky as in the aroma, slightly acidic, with little citrus, little malt. Not your traditional German weiss, feels more like a Belgian yeast Mouthfeel : full body, smooth, and spikey strong carbonation Overall: not bad, but I didn't like the unexpected funkiness of the yeast

pivnizub (12929) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 19, 2020 Einwegflasche (many thanks to the Danes of Garching!) Golden, hazy, visible carbonation, quite quickly collapsing loose white head, relatively sweet aroma of yeast and bubblegum-like fruits; moderate sweet flavour with both a light acidity and a light tartness, nearly medium bodied, quite soft; shorter sourish-sweetish finish with a mild late bitterness. Not bad, tastes like an average German Weizen...

henrik1985 (177) - SWEDEN - FEB 29, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 29, 2020 50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Very nice aroma of banana, citrus, cloves, wheat and vanilla. Some cinnamon in there as well? The taste is fresh and fruity with more of that banana and citrus. It tastes just like a good wheat beer should.
