| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 19, 2010 Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange with a bubbly white head that quickly shrinks to surface cover. Aroma is more malty than hoppy and has notes of caramel, yeast and citrus, with a hint of funk. Hops are more pronounced in the flavour but the malt and caramel notes are also prominent. Fairly thick and chewy mouthfeel, with minimal carbonation and a long, powerful bitter finish. I would agree that it’s a toss up whether this is an IPA or an ESB but for what it is, it is pretty good. Stefano (1361), Esbjerg, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 29, 2009 Clear amber color with a frothy head. Smells malty with less hop character than expected. Flavor is clean with nice balance of hops and malt. Not as good as I had expected but okay. Missing the citrus and hops I’ve come to expect from IPA’s. plovmand (1912), Hillerød, Denmark
