| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Clear reddish amber. Not a significant hop aroma, but some. Aroma of cream and fresh baked bread/rolls. Mostly maltiness in flavor but a nice crisp bitter aftertaste to remind you it’s a pale ale. Medium body. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 23, 2006 500ml bottle pours a murky light brown with a creamy tan head that stays pretty well and laces the sides of the glass. Aromas of floral and grapefruit hops. Flavor is those same grapefruit and floral notes but a nice balance with caramel malts. Notes of toffee, as well as a little yeast find their way through as well. Bitter crisp finish. Easy drinking... Another nice English session brew I’m sure but the price of importing it makes it not so practical here. nhorween (643), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Aroma is very floral and citrusy (grapefruit). Great sweetness with a nice bitter balance. Nice crisp, malt finish. Missing the hops that I like in an IPA, but it’s still a great beer. noelcb (271), Toledo, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 7, 2006 Cloudy deep copperr brown, foamy white head, nice lace. Aromas of malt, hops, butter and nuts prevail, with hints of herbs and fruit. Big malty flavor, with heavy hop taste and full bitterness. Some citrus, bready yeast, and toffee lurk in the background. Big and intense. Mouthfeel is nice, refreshing but not thin or fizzy. kseecs16 (954), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 3, 2006 Bottle. Poured a foggy copper with a moderate off-white head that left some lacing. The aroma was a mild fruity hoppiness, underwhelming. The taste was simple a straitforward hoppiness with a hint of a malt body that gets overwhelmed by a bitterness that rides into the finish. Not bad, but I would have hoped for a bit more complexity. Regardless this was a refreshing Pale Ale with a crispness to it that made it pleasant.
