| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 6, 2008 Orangish-copper with a white, sea-foam head. Nose is rather weak and dominated by citrus. I also detect pineapple. Palate is sticky and salty, which contrasts the light, fruity nose. Flavor is more developed with grapefruit, malt, slight pine and caramel. Odd IIPA, one that never came together for me. faroeviking (6370), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

The flavour is sweet with lots of ripe fruits, a good bitterness, pine and citrus. Sweetish bitter ripe fruity finish. Philip (436), Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Enjoyed with Indian food, which was a nice pairing. Notes of lemongrass, hay, and orange zest on the nose lead into apricot, lemon, and a decided hop note with a lingering sweetness. Well crafted and easy to drink despite it’s ABV, although lacking the complexity of some of the best IIPAs. Taken as whole, a good beer, but not an outstanding one. 00cobraR (1103), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 2, 2008 What a great beer. This thing was fantastic. Pours out a dark gold color with a nice amount of foam. Aroma is very intense with sweet fruits, resin, and hops. Flavor was a hop bomb. Just as the description says. Thats all i could taste and thats what i liked about this one. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Bomber. Pours clear dark gold with a white ring of foam. Sweet aroma of mango, pineapple, resin. Full body and minimal carbonation. Sweet taste of cotton candy, grapefruit and peach, with a resinous finish. bdigital (601), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 29, 2008 Bottle: Pours a gold-hued amber color with a fluffy white head. Notes of subtle caramel malts, floral hops, grass and pineapple in the nose...thick, viscous mouth feel with a bit of the alcohol biting down. Luscious pineapple and peach flavors apparent with huge amounts of floral and piney hops, light toffee notes present as well as a bit of grapefruit as it warmed. Very good. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 29, 2008 When I had it the first time, it was way to sweet. I tried the second batch last night, and it was too hot. When you make something as great as Hop 15, what more can you do. It’s like when Michael Jordan came back and tried to play for the Wizards. Nose is tropical fruity hops. Hops all over. Warm, sticky, powerful & a bit burning. Looong bitter end. Perhaps unbalanced & mega heavy - but I damm sure like it!
