| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 19, 2008 pours a brilliant clear golden yellow with a medium frothy barely off white head. the aroma delivers as promised... bready, pears, hay, grapefruit, sour peaches, faint earthy rosemary and loads of spicy grassy hops. the flavor is hoppy as hell but without bitterness... pineapple, peach, citrus pith, pale malt sweetness, bready yeast, a faint bitterness and a dry finish which leaves behind some skunk. medium body. creamy smooth texture but at the same time prickly and bitey from the hops and carbonation. just relentlessly drying...

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 17, 2010 Bomber purchased at the Stone brewery ($5.50). Pours a clear honey color with a finger and a half of thick white foam leaving nice lacing. Lovely aroma of that nicely blends the fruity elements from the Belgian yeast and the American hops. Along with the musty yeast and citrus-y hops, there is some grainy malt in the nose. Sharp flavor of spicy and citric hops leans more toward the American side. Dry finish with more spiciness. A pretty good blending of the styles/origins, and I do prefer this over the Stone SuperCaliBelgolistic Ale. (546, 254) shakespeare33 (157), san diego, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 10, 2010 Bomber from my main man Sid at 7th and C downtown san diego.. best cold micro selection around.. Pours a light, almost feathery golden with hints of brown highlights, the head is frothy with some serious movement.. The aroma catches me off guard as I am immediately reminded of the belgian style.. the yeast is definitely apparent and a musty, bitter yet surprisingly arousing aromas billows over the top.. Initial hit to the palate is very well balanced with good retention throughout the sip.. I obviously taste the trademark CALI hops but they quickly disappear and make way for the "belle of the ball" this distinct belgian yeast.. Oh yeah, the yeast is probably named SADE (pronounced SHAH- DEY) because its a smooth operator.. This flavor is consistent throughout each sip as the bitter floral is again overshadowed by a light doughyness that mellows this IPA from a CALI King to a more English style. Quite frankly, I really enjoy it.. In my opinion, worlds better than the regular stone and even maybe the slightest leg up on the Ruination, I know I know thats blasphemy but its true... Looks like I finally found my favorite Stone!! cmonster (160), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2010 Bomber served in a tulip. Light honey in color with a medium-sized bubbly white head. Average retention and light lacing. Aroma dominated by sweet belgian yeast. A layer of complexity is added in the form of citrus, leather and dough. Flavor is that of a light belgian ale. Sweet medium-light body, creamy texture, good carbonation, and a mildly bitter, sticky-sweet finish. Has a little pistachio too. Better than Stone IPA. italianjohn (516), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 28, 2010 Poured a golden clear color with a pillow white head that did stick around for a little while and provide some lacing. The first thing I noticed on nose was the Belgium yeast followed by a floral hoppy bouquet and a slight touch of smoke. The body is a wonderfully balanced medium bodied mix of Belgium and IPA. The finish is a buttery hop, if that is even possible? esjaygee (1629), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 26, 2010 Clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, grapefruit, toasted malt and floral hops. Taste of moderate hops, citrus, mild fruit, yeast and light sugar. Smooth body with minor bitterness on the back end. Definitely not as aggressive as their other hopped beers. Decently done though not a huge fan of this style. icmac (18), Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 22, 2010 Pours a cloudy, light, golden color, leaving a frothy white head. The aroma is light hops, with a hint of a belgian. The taste has the hop bite and a little doughy, belgian flavor at the finish. Damico (294), Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 20, 2010 The aroma is light for an IPA, but then again again it is a Belgian style version. The appearance is also lighter, orange straw yellow. The flavor is that of a smooth IPA. Hops are prevalent from beginning to end, but with a brilliant balance of bitter and sweet hoppiness, the beer manages to remain smooth throughout.
