Yellow pour on the hazy side, thin head. Citrus, lime-like aroma with sugary smell. Great beer.

Light straw yellow with white head and lace. Aroma of lemon, paper, and light malt. Flavor is a mirror of the aroma. A bit thin and watery but drinkable.

Bottle at the 10th Richmond RateBeer Gathering courtesy of jcwattsrugger on 01/16/2010. Slightly hazy pale golden body with a small frothy white head. Sweet spice aroma with some citrus and light wheat. Sweet spice flavor, lots of citrus and a wheat background. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

...bottle. Had a nice hoegaarden like nose with some nice hints of Key Lime. Smooth and creamy with some nice yeast notes, and a good amount of sediment, which is a must for this style. Finished dryish, prickly with some orange and corriander flavors and a lime-like finish. I was pleasently surprised, and it’s definitely worth trying.

Bottled and poured into a hotel plastic glass. Lime, lime, lime. It was a mild wheat with lime and some lime.

Has an aroma somewhat like a real lambic, funky. Looks like a wheat but perhaps there is this slight green hue, very slight. Friendly and interesting first taste impressions. Has some lime in there like the lime reminiscent in lime tostidos. Good carbonation. Interesting beer but probably could not session. Finishes each slug with a medium bitter pale ale linger.

From a bottle poured a hazy golden color with a fair amount of head. Nice spicy citrus flavor with a lingering aftertaste.

Bottle from Maniac’s Richmond Tenth Gathering. Near clear yellow pour with almost no ring of white head. Nose has a few bubblegum notes, sweet wheat. Flavor has a citrusy lemongrass tanginess. Acidic bite on the palate. Fair for an american hefe.
