Pours a deep brown color with a very thin brown head. Nose is roasty and cocoa. Mouthfeel is great, oily and lightly carbonated. Aromas are roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and dark fruits, with a hint of alcohol. Medium finish on bitterness, with vinous and roasty notes. Excellent re-visited imperial stout! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Barwa: ciemna, z rubinowymi refleksami, dosyć gęsta i oleista. Piana beżowa, drobno pęcherzykowa, niewielka i dość szybko opadająca. Aromat: melanoidyny, suszone owoce (śliwki, wiśnie, może jabłka), czekolada, kawa oraz wyraźna nuta alkoholowa. Smak: zdecydowanie pełny i początkowo słodki.

Bottle thanks to Rick. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong roast, booze, wood. Thin mouthfeel with rich roasted malt, dark chocolate and nice roast dry finish.

Bottle - Dark roast malts and bitter chocolate. Deep jet brown with a thin beige head. Nice rich dark chocolate and a long creamy chocolate finish. Surprisingly easy drinking for a huge beer.

Excelente breja! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 ml bottle courtesy of angst, thank you. Vintage 2011. Pours a dark brown--nearly black color with a small khaki head that soon recedes to a fine ring. The aroma is strong with dark fruits, molasses, and black licorice. The taste features coffee, chocolates, raisins, dates, toffee and bitter nuts. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry. Overall: Very tasty RIS, I loved it.
