Pours deep brown with a dense tan head. The aroma had think roasty smooth malt, chocolate, dark caramel and molasses. It has a rich creamy body with mild carbonation. The usage starts like the aroma and finishes drier with a touch of char. Great.

Heavily roasted and showing at least all of it’s 7% abv. Drinks big, for better or worse. There was an offness to the bottle that I can’t quite name - ever so slight astringency perhaps? - that didn’t belong. Good, but I think it can be better. Hope to try on tap one day.
