Tasted 23/4/2013 draught "Princess Louise", High Holburn, London. Poured as a glass full of bubbles that took some time to settle to a medium gold amber colour with a thin white bubble head that didn’t lace. Aroma faintly of sweet malt. Taste of sweet malt but no real bitterness. Light to medium body. Smooth and soft with not much flavour. Easy drinking.

Drunk after visiting Sheff for footy, Good beer at amazingly low price. Had to ask the bat maid if she’d added up wrong as it was so cheap compared to the Manc city centre prices I’m used to

15th January 2013 Wooden cask at the lovely old Anchor Tap - Tower Bridge. Almost clear amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Softish and semi dry palate. Nice mouthfeel. Good tangy dried fruits with a pleasant hint of sourness. Semi dry finish with super mild bitterness. Nice bitter! Seems to be rounded off and very drinkable.

Cask at Angel, New Oxford Street. Nice healthy amber pour, thick and well carbonated. Nose is fairly unassuming but appealing in its combination of dry notes and substantial malts. Mouthfeel a bit thinner than needed but the flavors are nicely satisfying, with bright herbal notes giving things a nice liveliness.
