It poured a clear golden-amber with a frothy head and plenty of beading. Very pleasant sweet caramel malt aroma, Very full bodied malt flavors with hints of dark fruits. There is an alcohol presence, but fairly neligible. Clean crisp finish. Tmoney99 (5000), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate grassy hop aroma. Medium body with a syrupy texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Drinkable average brew. JPDIPSO (4960), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 29, 2003 Dark golden with a larger bubbled cream colored head. Light malt with undertones of earth and light fruit. Thick and sweet start with a slight bite on the tongue. Hops and alcohol are in the finish to sweep the sweetness away and gives an nearly immediate "buzz". Warming and fulfilling. This would be a great brew for an evening after being on the slopes. A blonde bock malt liquor. BückDich (4875), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 12, 2007 Bottle: Pellucid amber, nice white head and nice lacing. Nose of light perfumey malts and alcohol, subtle and nice. Only lightly skunky. The flavor is harsh, lots of sweet malt and alcohol, punches like I’d think a Russian malt liquor would. Hmmm. Sweet caramel aroma with apple notes. Sweet malt and rather cloying metallic bitterness. As beer warms up, nice nuttiness comes out. A strong Vienna. rich but a bit too much, veering on cloying. Tasted Spring 2006. DocLock (4685), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2006 Bottle from Super Saver. Deep golden pour, with aromas of hopcitrus, some pale malts, and some heaty malt liquory corn. The palate is medium and cloying, with some honey and heat, especially as it warms. On the way down, it provides flavors of corny pale malts, some cloying caro syrup, and good doses of hops and citrus. Not a beer I would seek out again, but definitely above average.
