Taste is coffee upfront and all the way throughout with a bit of dark chocolate. It’s a much drier beer than I expected but not really in a bad way. Very enjoyable beer.

DuffMan (10981) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 10, 2008Near black, with ruby tones at the edges. Very rich dark roast coffee bean aroma, eclipses all else. Generous bitter chocolate and espresso flavours, sweet, with a long dry finish of medium bitterness. Medium mouthfeel. One of the best coffee porters I’ve tried, perhaps made better by the freshness of the sample. I took a growler away with me.
