Sep 23, 2008 Sampled at Brewgrass 2008. Walnut colored brew. Pleasantly roasty grain aroma. Simple and straight forward porter. Roasty and smooth. Smooth medium body. Nothing to get worked up about, but if you want a straight forward solid porter, this might be fore you.

Jan 24, 2010 Tap at Wedge. Pours a deep brown almost black, decent lasting head. Aroma is nutty, chocolate,, sweet milk chocolate fruity- peach, toast, light coffee, and maple sweetness.. Flavor is a touch sweet, maple, carob - chocolate sweetness, nutty, earthy, dough, marzipan, and fruity- finish is ok.

Mar 6, 2009 Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a reddish brown color with a medium head. Poor retention and lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and bitter hops. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate and very faint hops. Medium bodied.
