Commercial Description:
Brewed with extra hops and malt in the English tradition, but with West Coast style. This deep golden India Pale Ale is artfully balanced with a fresh, powerful aroma and a luscious finish.

Pours an orange to amber color with slight haze, and generous white head. Nose is fresh fruity with clearly identifiable orange. On the palate there’s a healthy balance of biscuity malt to the citrusy hops. Medium to full bodied, not easy drinking but not challenging either - perhaps because it comes across as fuller bodied than many IPAs.

Got a bottle of this thanks to, "hannont". Colour... golden-orange with a corpulent, off-white head. Nose... hops and refined sugar. Palate... damn hoppy! A beer to be reckoned with; not that it would allow you to do otherwise! Seems more like a double impy! Yeasty, loads of grapefruit AND pine, which oft times seem to me to be mutually exclusive, in IPA’s. And, it seems like no matter how much I drink, the head just re-establishes itself! Must be all those bits of yeast that are hanging about the bottom of the drinking vessel. Damn good stuff! Must see if, "hannont" has more!!

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a large white sticky head. A great aroma; huge citrus hops, fresh and pungent. The flavor is also very good; rich citrus and pine flavors, light biscuit and caramel provides some balance. Smooth and easygoing. Light bitter hops dance in the end. Nice and very drinkable.

Bottle thanks to joeneugs. Pours a clear amber with a thin near white head. Aroma has a surprisingly malty aroma with a strong biscuit and cereal aroma with a slight hint of earth and grassy hops. Flavor has a nice grassy hop flavor with the grains being more of an undertone on the tongue.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with joenugs. Pours a very hazy golden orange with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Very pleasant aroma of caramel, orange, grapefruit and pine. The flavor falls off a good bit from the aroma with weak caramel up front followed by a restrained wash of citrus pith that totally lacked any of the fruitiness promised in the aroma. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. A little disappointing given the promising start to this beer.

Bottle. Pours thick and dark honey golden with a half inch of milky white head. Aroma is fragrant floral hops, pine and roasted malt. Flavor begins with strong hops and medium-level maltiness followed by intense bitterness and some citrus and pine notes. It finishes crisp and slightly creamy with a strong, lingering bitter aftertaste. Very smooth and enjoyable IPA.
