Dec 18, 2002 RERATE: Picked up a ’fresh’ sample at the brewery today in my travels. Appears about the same with very little head. Very malty aroma and still a slight sour/silage aroma. Decent caramel and roasted malt flavors. This one must not age well. Original Rating 12/12/02 Overall ’8’
Nearly opaque brown. Earthy oak and light coffee aromas. Smallish tan head. Quite thin in feel. Fleeting malt flavors that go right to a vinegar sourness and mouth puckering finish. Definately Contaminated.

Aug 5, 2002 This beer pours as dark as...as...a really dark thing. Smells like a particularly watery coffee. Taste is malty, and a little sweeter than I’d expected. Not a very thick or flavorful beer.
