UPDATED: DEC 20, 2021 From the Bottle at Chris O's Pre-GBBF Shindig 30/07/2011 Pale malt aroma. Golden coloured smooth on the palate and malty with a hint of dryness in a grainy finish.

Kuparinruskea, kirkas olut vaahtoaa kivalla paksulla vaaleanbeigellä vaahdolla. Maltainen ja karamellinen tuoksu, kevyen mausteinen. Maku karamellisen maltainen, puinen ja kevyesti katkeroitu. Katkeruus kuitenkin osin peittyy varsin runsaan hiilihappoisuuden taakse. Kiva ja helposti juotava kokonaisuus.

Bottle, 15/07/16. Pours a hale orange with a decent, off-white head. Aroma is... British? Some wooden notes, some flower, slightly caramelly. Taste is flower, some wooden, fruity, orange. Fairly stiff, good carbonation.

0.5 l bottle from local supermarket. This has amber colour from the Crystal malts. No head. Taste is more bitter than pale ale, i.e. mainly malts with butterscotch, barnyard, mouldy basement with old vegetables like of flavours. Interesting, but not my favourite.

Bottle 0.5l from local market, Espoo. Originally rated 2011. Colour is clear copper with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, hops and malts.

.500 bottle from Kilpishalli just across the Finnish/Norwegian border. Tasted at rating session 21st May 2012. Light amber body with inch-high white head that leaves some lacing. Quite strong and complex aroma of leather, horse blanket and vegetables as well as hints of alcohol. Flavour contains spices, with a strong sense of pepper, in addition to dry malts. Very dry but quite comfortable in mouth. Bitter finish. Strange but interesting brew, although perhaps a tad too eclectic.

Bottle 50 CL. Pours clear copper with white foamy head and a strong scent of malts. Very strong taste of malts, sweet malts in this one. Bready malts sort of eating white bread.

bottle. copper clear. murky woody bready malts, murky greenery. light body, easy drink. feels quite murky and stale. metallic caramel pops in at times.
