from tap @ brugsch beertje. Golden colour with nice and foamy white head leaving laces. Fruity smell. Taste: bitter, a bit sour, medium sweet, nice fruits and yeasty. Nice tripel!

Hazy orange, steady off-white head, lace. Cat piss, hazy, strong fruity and white peppery nose. Medium-bodied. Toffee, hay, citrus, grapefruit, lots of everything in the flavor. Kind of saison, triple and IPA mix. Quite yeasty. Weird.

Sample at the Rake, Southwark, July 2009. Gold colour. Pleasant clean, yeasty aroma. Well judged spicing on the palate. Has a similar feel to XX Bitter although I didn’t find the hoppiness / bitterness as assertive as others did. However, I did note a rather "old" character to the flavour, although I’m pretty sure the beer was relatively fresh. I’ll return to this one for a fuller assessment based on a larger sample.

Draught @ Brugs Beertje, 33 cl. Blond, hazy beer with a beautiful white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus and spicy. Taste is hoppy, citrus, bitter on the tongue and light fruity. Good triple, typical ’De-La-Senne’-beer!

Bottle 750ml. @ home.
Light unclear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, fruity, apricot, citrus, wood ? plastic - rubber notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and sharp peel bitter with a long duration, finish has some sweet vinegar notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090901]

750 ml bottle shared with friends at ’t Brugs Beertje. Cloudy yellow/orange color with a big white head that lasts quite a while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma of freshly made bread dough. Flavor is dominated by malts, yeast is also obvious, and maybe some light spice. Good body. An interesting beer, worth seeking out.

A Mes rate. Van’t Vat at Poechenellekelder.
Slightly hazy gold with a good white head and lots of excellent lace. Excellent spicy and floral hop aroma. Straight forward but VERY good. Superb assertive hoppy flavour with an excellent lightly sweet malt base. Really good yeasty notes and just really well balanced all round. Fantastic bitter, fruity hop finish with a late sherbet bite. Really good indeed.
