Cask, hand-pulled at The Bar Nouveau, GBBF 08.. Unclear, mahogany body without a head. Blend of dark malts to the nose. Comprehensive taste of roasted coffee beans, chocolate and a touch of oak. Rather thin palate, though (07.08.2008)

(Cask at GBBF, London, 6 Aug 2008) Brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, nutty nose with coffee and chocolate. Malty, nutty taste with notes of cold coffee and a bittersweet finish. Fairly thin body, mainly dry. Decent bitter.

Cask at GBBF 08. Dark brown, offwhite head. Chocolate nose. Good bitterness, fruit and chocolate. A bit watery. A very good beer that I would probably call a mild.
