Had this a couple times back in the day. Pretty sure I liked Olde E and Mickeys better. It does get you drunk, but so does cheap wine or drinking a 6-pack of Bud. Strictly an economy beer..IMO. If I only had $2, wanted to get drunk, and limited to gas-station beer...I may go with something like MD 20/20 or Brass Monkey over this.

710ml can, enjoyed on the Chesapeake beachfront with a can of kipper snacks. This is a nice one, gonna compare it to bluebull side to side next, but very smooth malt.

Found this one recently after many years of not having one...just to much malt...drinkable but not good by any means.

40 share thanks to Homer321. Crystal clear, pale straw yellow color, white head. Very light smooth, light adjunct, malty, sweet. Sweet, adjunct, corny, mildly bitter, no off flavors.

Bottle. 40. Nose is very creamy and corny. Pour is clearly bright yellow. Taste is just sweet and corny. Not light struck. Pretty good.

40oz bottle. Straw color with perpetual head. Pretty mild for a malt liquor and slightly metallic tasting.

XL fucken 40 shared by Bobby! Clear golden pour with a big white head. Nose is corn, sweet grain, and a touch of grape. Light soap. Not bad, though. Flavor is pretty innocuous. Sweet malt, corn, and hints of grape. Light soap and paper. Pretty easy to drink, though. Probably because it’s only 6%.

40oz thanks to t0rin0. Clear golden with gigantic foam. Webby, complete lacing. Impressive. Nose is yellow apple, sugar, soap. Taste is paper, cider, more paper. Mouthfeel is watery, dry, papery, soapy. Extra long finish.

Medium body with a thick smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with a moderate grainy sweet finish of short duration. Cold wet alcohol with some character. Passed on making this #9000 rating.
