| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 27, 2008 Aroma is a sour malt scent. Color is a bright brown with good carbonation and a thin tight head. Taste is spicy and malty. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish is malty with caramel and honey flavors and a spiciness on the end. The spiciness lingers into the after taste with a mellow bitterness. This is a good brew it has the feel of a real German Märzen like Ayinger or Paulaner. kenb (1102), Oregon, USA

Smelled a little nutty. Caramel and malty taste. Somewhat dry. Not too bad, better than I expected. I can’t wait until the winter brews come around again. JPDIPSO (4960), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Amber to bronze colored liquid with a tall lasting manila folder colored head. Caramel and lightly toasted malt aromas. A hint of floral hops as well. Some pale malt flavors along with a kitchen bouquet caramel flavor. Little bit of dried flower bitterness in the middle. Fairly sweet and not very crisp in the finish and liner. Just another slightly stronger amber lager. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Bottle. Body is a dark amber (almost brown with a small, tan head and aromas of caramel/toffee (very candy-like) and a bit of pie spices. Flavor is caramel and spice... but spice is like pie spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.) If I didn’t know better, I would say this is a pumpkin beer without the pumpkin... Pretty good, but a little weird for the style. Comes off as a bit watery/thin on every other sip. SudsMcDuff (1970), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 21, 2009 bought in ATX at Grapevine, i don’t know why.... smells like soup can and light maple .. . pours a robust tan-orange, with low medium fizzy head .. . so far so good .. . simple stuff, light caramel in the mouth.. pretty easy to put down .. . its just how your karma came, but thanks to the vision and the 20/20 wisdom, it hit me like a south bound train... . For who makes this, they did a pretty good job, give this to a normy hey might very well seek out other marzens, simplistic but non offensive..
