Brew House notes Style: Belgian Style Golden Ale Alcohol by Volume: 6.7% IBU’s: 45 Hops: Saaz, Chinook Malt: Pilzen Cellarman’s Notes. Demolition will remain fresh 180 days from the bottled on date. Pours a brilliant honey color with a medium sized frothy white head. Nose: honey suckle, clover, spice, corn polenta / cornbread, lemon. Taste is chamomile tea, lemon, bergamot, and green peas. Mouthfeel is little bubbles, with light to medium weight in the mouth and an off dry, yet slightly sweet finish.

Bottle dated 2007. Cloudy peach color with a thin foamy white head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is complex belgian malt, fruits, spices, yeast, alcohol and herbal hops. Flavor is caramel, earthy notes, herbal hops, plums gingerbread cookies, alcohol and yeast. Moderately bitter and sweet aftertaste. Medium to full bodied with low carbonation.

aroma is soft candy sweetness and yeast. crunchy sweetness abounds. lightly fruity (banana and pineapple) with minor (and not offensive) phenolic streak. appearance is perfectly clear golden/straw with wispy head and bare lacing. flavor is bubblegum up front followed by a hint of the fruits laid out in the nose bookended with boneyard yeast dryness. this is beer is the definition of a golden ale and also my personal epitome of an amazing beer. the contrast of soft mouthfeel and ’slam the door shut’ dry end is amazing. if it would have been 8%+ it would make it into my top 10 easily.

Shared by bhensonb. Pours golden with an attractive clinging white head that took a while to diminish. There is a banana aroma and a rather flat pale malt flavor, with citrus and hop bitterness creeping up at the finish.

Bomber as plain Demolition. Probably from Archer Liquors. Pours hazy gold with a foamy off-white, ringy/clingy, head. Aromas of citrus and mild spice. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is citrus, pale malt, some sweetness, and touches of yeast/spice. Very tasty.

A - Hazy burnt orange with almost no head that ends up as a ring around the edge. S - A lot of yeast and a little grapefruit T - Not surprisingly after 2 1/2 years the hops have died down quite a bit. Taste almost as yeasty as it smells. A bit of citrus. M - Nice body. Very smooth. Little carbonation. D - Although the alcohol isn’t very strong I don’t think it’s something I’d want to session. Overall, it’s not as good as I remember but not bad. Definitely better than a Budweiser.

From an old rating note taken a couple years ago now - with the in-laws in Michigan I think: 12oz bottle. Orange-gold pour with a thin white head. Cereal, caramel and tropical fruit in the aroma. Taste is lightly sweet with grass hops, nuts and the tropical fruits. Medium bodied with sticky finish and light carbonation.

A: Pours a nice amber color with a huge head. The head dies down and leaves behind a good bit of lacing. S: Sweet malty aroma with hints of citrus fruits such as orange and lemon. T: Nice. This is a hoppy Belgian brew. Starts off with a nice bready yeasty malty taste. Hints of orange, coriander, and grapefruit peel then come thru. Nice complex brew. M: Medium bodied with a hint of bubbles.
