Jan 24, 2010 Pours a orange with a white head. Aroma is grapefuit, malts, and hops. Flavor is malt, hops, and a huge kind of sweet over the top grapefruit taste that is a little strange but still very enjoyable.

Jan 24, 2010 Pours with a thick, white head. Color is a peachy-amber with a moderate-high carbonation. Aroma is very piny and resinous. Taste is much more smooth and approachable than the initial aroma would indicate. Although not the most unique or memorable IIPA, it is both balanced and a solid example of the style.

Jan 22, 2010 12 oz bottle courtesy of RCL. Thanks. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a small white head that has good retention. The aroma is all caramel malts, sweet and lightly spicy, just a bit of hop aroma. The taste is biter hops forward with resiny hops, barley, walnuts and caramel. The palate is full and smooth. The finish is short and biter. Overall: A very sessionable DIPA, this goes down very easy.

Jan 22, 2010 Pours clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, some resin. Taste is sweet hop and finishes with more bitter piney hop. Well balanced but looking for more.

Jan 18, 2010 A powerful and impressive imperial IPA. Pours a clear, sparkling amber with a small white head. Nose is obviously overwhelmingly hoppy. Grapefruit, lime and pepper dominate. Flavor and palate are enjoyable. The palate is smooth with lively carbonation. The malt reveals itself mainly in the flavor.

Jan 17, 2010 Pours a crystal clear orange color with a short-lived thick off white head. Aroma is lemon zest grapefruit some caramel malt. Sugar and citrus. Flavor is hop forward but not aggresivley so. Nice malt backbone, but the hops character isn’t so bold that it needs a huge malt presence. Good beer, but only a so-so DIPA.
